Learn with the professionals – expert NPORS Slinger Signaller training from Ivor King
Our popular NPORS N402 slinger signaller training courses are aimed at those wishing to pursue a lifting career in construction. Especially catering for those with limited or no experience, our slinger signaller training is an excellent starting point for anyone looking to gain entry to the construction industry.
We run all slinger-signaller training using our permanently available crawler crane, so that you may fully understand all duties of the role.
On this course you’ll learn all current signals conforming to BS7121 – Code of practice for the safe use of cranes, and the correct procedures for identifying faulty accessories. Our training covers how to use radio communications, how to correctly sling, and how to correctly signal to the crane.
Our instructors teach slinging and signalling best practice to the recognised standard, and we’ll take you through various scenarios to help put you at ease when you’re out on-site.
Our NPORS slinger-signaller courses usually run for two days, but this duration may be reduced if you already have experience or just require a refresher.
We offer full flexibility on this course, which can run on an ad-hoc basis to meet the needs and demands of your training or testing. We offer a free assessment if you’re unsure of how much training you may or may not require.
Join us at our professional and modern training facilities in the heart of the Midlands and get the skills you need to progress your career in the construction industry. Easily accessible, we’re only 20 miles drive from Birmingham and just an hour from London on the train.
