We’ve been out shopping for toys, and it’s for a great cause
Ivor King has been hitting the shops in support of the Salvation Army’s annual Christmas Present Appeal.
The registered charity is once again asking for donations of new, unwrapped toys and gifts for families whose children might not otherwise receive a Christmas present. The gifts will then be wrapped and distributed to those in need.
The appeal, running until mid-December is being delivered by Salvation Army centres across the UK, so it was a pleasure to make a delivery to the local branch in our hometown of Nuneaton to help those less fortunate.
